Plan the stand around your audience.
At IMEX Frankfurt, the stand is a working setting for the meetings and events industry. Destinations, venues and hospitality businesses need a clear identity as well as a practical place for business conversations. For a shared pavilion, the challenge is to make each participant easy to find while keeping the overall space coherent. Zeno can develop the design and delivery scope around that balance.
Start with the participating teams
List each partner, their meeting requirements, branding and shared facilities. Decide which elements are common to the pavilion and which belong to an individual exhibitor. A consistent sign hierarchy helps a visitor move from the destination identity to the right meeting position without asking several teams for directions.
Protect the appointment experience
Lay out chairs in use, not only tables on a floor plan. Include the host, guests, passing visitors and the space needed to arrive or leave a meeting. A shared welcome point, storage and hospitality area can reduce duplicated functions, but their location must not interrupt the main circulation route. Discuss privacy requirements before selecting furniture or partitions.
Coordinate one submission and artwork programme
A pavilion can involve several teams providing logos, messages and approvals. Give each a clear template and an agreed final submission date. Check the current IMEX exhibitor information and venue requirements for technical submissions and ordered services. An overhead brand feature should be reviewed as part of the specific design; the presence of one in a past project is not approval for a future stand.
What to include in your IMEX Frankfurt brief
- Partner list and meeting capacity per participant
- Shared reception, hospitality and storage requirements
- Brand hierarchy and partner artwork templates
- A single approval owner for the whole pavilion
- Current organiser manual and venue service responsibilities
Add your stand dimensions, budget guidance and delivery scope. Mark provisional information so it can be resolved during the first review.
